Care Assistant

A Care Assistant provides day-to-day personal care and support to individuals in their own homes, residential care settings, or nursing homes. You will help clients with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, and mobility. The role involves building positive relationships with clients, monitoring their wellbeing, and ensuring dignity and respect at all times. No formal nursing qualification is usually required, but relevant care certificates (e.g., Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2/3) are often preferred.

Live-in Carer

A Live-in Carer lives with the client (usually in their own home) and provides round-the-clock support and companionship. You will be responsible for all aspects of daily care while having dedicated rest/sleep time (typically 8 hours uninterrupted per night). The position often suits experienced carers who enjoy building long-term relationships.

Senior Carer

A Senior Carer is an experienced care professional who takes a leadership role within a care team. In addition to providing hands-on care, you will supervise and mentor junior Care Assistants, ensure care plans are followed correctly, and act as a point of contact for families and healthcare professionals. This role requires strong leadership skills and significant previous experience in care.

Care Coordinator

A Care Coordinator organises and manages care services for individuals, ensuring they receive the right level of support at the right time. Strong organisational and people skills are essential.

Registered Nurse

A Registered Nurse (often called RGN or RN) provides professional clinical care and is qualified to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. This role requires a current NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration in the UK.
